Privacy & Confidentiality

Your Recovery Is
Nobody Else's Business

Many of our patients are professionals, parents, and public figures who cannot afford — personally or professionally — for their treatment to be visible. Privacy isn't a feature of our practice. It's the foundation.

Because we don't bill insurance networks, no diagnosis codes or treatment records are reported to third parties unless you request it. Your care stays between you and your clinician.
Judgment-Free Care
Substance use disorder is a medical condition, not a moral failing. You'll be met with expertise and compassion from the first conversation — never shame.
No Unnecessary Insurance Reporting
Superbills are available if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement — but that choice is entirely, and only, yours to make.

Important — Not for Emergencies

Wright Care is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time. All treatment decisions — including eligibility for medication-assisted treatment — are based on clinical evaluation, safety, state law, and provider judgment.

Comprehensive Care,
Delivered Privately

Every service at Wright Care is delivered through secure, encrypted telehealth by experienced addiction medicine clinicians — evidence-based substance use disorder treatment designed around your life, not a clinic's schedule.

What We Offer

Six Pillars of Private Recovery

Addiction Medicine

The medical foundation of everything we do. Your clinician conducts a comprehensive evaluation of your substance use, medical history, mental health, and goals — then treats substance use disorder the way any serious medical condition deserves to be treated: with expertise, evidence, and a plan.

  • Comprehensive diagnostic evaluation
  • Opioid, stimulant & sedative care
  • Co-occurring anxiety & depression screening
  • Lab coordination when indicated

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

FDA-approved medications can quiet cravings, ease withdrawal, and support long-term recovery for opioid use disorder. When clinically appropriate, your clinician prescribes and closely monitors medication-assisted treatment as part of an integrated plan — never as a prescription in isolation.

  • Buprenorphine-based treatment for opioid use disorder
  • Naltrexone & other anti-craving medications
  • Careful induction, titration & monitoring
  • Home delivery pharmacy coordination where available

Individual Psychotherapy

Medication addresses the biology; therapy addresses the life. In private one-on-one sessions, you'll work through the patterns, stressors, and histories that shape your relationship with substances — using proven therapeutic modalities, at a pace that respects where you are.

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Trauma-informed approaches
  • Skills for stress, sleep & relationships

Medication Management

Recovery rarely happens in a vacuum. Anxiety, depression, insomnia, and ADHD frequently travel alongside substance use disorders. Your clinician manages the full picture — thoughtfully prescribing and adjusting psychiatric medications so your whole treatment works together instead of in silos.

  • Integrated psychiatric prescribing
  • Regular follow-up & dose optimization
  • Drug-interaction & safety review
  • Coordination with outside providers, with your consent

Recovery Planning

A strong recovery is a prepared one. Together you'll map your specific triggers, early warning signs, and high-risk situations — then build a concrete, written protocol for exactly what to do when the hard moment arrives. Because it will, and you'll be ready.

  • Personalized trigger & risk mapping
  • Written relapse-prevention protocol
  • Craving-management skill building
  • Rapid re-engagement plan after a slip

Telehealth Follow-Ups

Care shouldn't pause between appointments. Members have secure messaging access to their care team, structured check-ins during vulnerable periods, and — only with your written authorization — coordination with therapists, physicians, programs, or family members who are part of your support system.

  • Secure messaging with your care team
  • Accountability check-ins between visits
  • Referrals to vetted specialists & programs
  • Family coordination — only when you authorize it

Our Philosophy

How We Practice Medicine

i.

Privacy Is Clinical

When patients feel safe from exposure, they tell the truth — and truthful histories produce better medicine. Discretion isn't a luxury add-on; it's a treatment tool.

ii.

Medicine, Not Moralizing

Substance use disorder is a treatable medical condition with a robust evidence base. We practice from science and compassion — never from shame.

iii.

The Relationship Is the Treatment

One dedicated clinician who knows your story, over months and years. Continuity is where trust forms, and trust is where recovery holds.

In Their Words

Quiet Stories of Recovery

I put off getting help for two years because I couldn't risk being seen at a clinic in my own town. My first appointment happened from my home office. Nobody ever knew — and now I'm eighteen months sober.

Executive · Age 44

What surprised me most was the absence of judgment. It was the first time a clinician talked to me about my substance use like it was a medical problem we could solve — because it was.

Attorney · Age 51

The combination of medication and weekly therapy changed everything. Having one team that saw the whole picture — not five providers who never spoke — made recovery feel possible for the first time.

Physician & Parent · Age 38

Shared with permission. Names withheld and identifying details altered to protect patient privacy. Individual experiences vary; testimonials do not guarantee outcomes.

Meet Your Clinician

Common Questions

Asked Quietly, Answered Honestly

Will anyone find out I'm receiving treatment?
Not from us. Wright Care operates cash-pay, so nothing is reported to insurance networks unless you request a superbill. Communications use discreet subject lines and billing descriptors, and your records are never shared with employers, family, or anyone else without your written authorization — except where disclosure is required by law.
Do you take insurance?
We are a private, cash-pay practice — a deliberate choice that keeps your care confidential and free of network restrictions. On request, we provide superbills you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
How quickly can I be seen?
Most new patients can be seen same day or within a few days of reaching out. Once you're a member, follow-ups are scheduled at your convenience, with evening availability.
Can you really prescribe medication through telehealth?
In many cases, yes — including FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder. Every prescribing decision is based on clinical evaluation, safety, state law, and provider judgment, and some situations may require in-person care or a higher level of treatment, which we'll help you find.
What if I need more intensive treatment?
We'll tell you honestly. If your evaluation suggests you'd be safer with medically supervised withdrawal management, residential care, or an intensive outpatient program, we'll say so and help connect you to the appropriate level of care. Good medicine sometimes means a referral.
